Cancer can change your life and affect others around you.
Some people feel like they need to put their lives on hold while they are receiving treatment.
You might not feel like your usual self, even when treatment has come to an end. It can take a while to work out what you need and how you want to do things. There is support around for you, and also for your family.
It’s not always easy, but over time, and with help and support, most of our mob who have had cancer find they are able to cope with the changes caused by their diagnosis and treatment, and return to the things that are important to them.
Remember that you are not alone. There are people around you who understand the challenges and can give you information that will help.
